Design and Performance
Build
The Predator Archery Raptor Compound Bow’s limbs are built in the US and feature high-quality fiberglass. The cams and risers are fully machined aluminum, unlike other bow options that often use plastic components.
The Raptor features an easily adjustable draw weight from 30 up to 70 lbs. without needing a bow press. Just tighten or lose the limb bolt on each limb pocket.
The Raptor includes several accessories made from high-quality materials as well. This kit provides you with a whisker biscuit arrow rest, a stabilizer, and five-pin peep sight with light and level for no additional cost.
- Stabilizer
- Whisker biscuit
- TRUGLO Arrow rest
- Sight
- Quiver
Some users report that the cable guard slips out occasionally, so make sure you tighten the screws on the cable guard very well.
Overall, the quality of the Raptor’s design and build is comparable to much more expensive brands and models.
Firing and Uses
The Predator Archery Raptor Compound Bow features a 30 to 70 lbs. draw weight, which provides a manageable range for archers of all different strengths.
With maximum speeds of up to 315 fps and a 75% let-off, this bow has a fast, smooth, and accurate fire.
The let-off could be a little higher as most newer bows offer let-offs up to 85%. Nevertheless, this bow only requires you to hold 17.5 pounds to deliver over 70 pounds of weight on the arrow (depending on your setup). It requires considerably little effort and a big payoff.
This bow is very versatile, and you can use it for any activity that requires a bow, such as target practices, bow hunting, or even bow fishing.
Its versatility and easy adjustability make it ideal for novices who aren’t sure how they’ll want to use their new bow.
Additional Materials
Expert archers may want to customize their bow with their favorite accessories, the Predator Archery Raptor already comes with several accessories to get you started.
The kit includes the Raptor bow, an arrow rest, a five-pin peep sight with level and light, a stabilizer, a good string stop, and a four-arrow quiver. The loop and peep sight come pre-installed, and the kit includes the Allen wrenches you’ll need for assembly.
All you’ll need to acquire to get started are some awesome arrows. You can get started right away with target practice because the kit even provides you with a small paper target with ten-point scoring.
Warranty
The Predator Archery Raptor Compound Bow offers a lifetime warranty (covers any manufacturing defect that compromises the integrity of the bow) and a 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days. Make sure to register your bow after purchase.
Summary
If you’re a beginner, or an expert who wants a high-quality all-in-one kit, the Predator Archery Raptor is a great option.
This kit provides everything you need to get started, aside from your arrows, and it offers exceptional value for its price. With this bow, you should be able to accomplish incredible speed and accuracy.
It’s versatile, easy to adjust, and reasonably simple to set up. The Predator Archery Raptor works well for beginners and seasoned archers alike.

I’m looking for hunting arrows for a predator raptor compound bow and I don’t know what to get. It’s for hunting pig and deer
Hi Carolyn,

Hello, I just got the bow, and I want to know what poundage it is currently at? I can’t change it if I don’t know what it’s at.
Hi Rue,
It should be set at 45-50 lbs out of the box… but you never know… so to make sure you go up to 70lbs and go down from there. 1 turn equals roughly 4lbs (the manual says NEVER to adjust the bolts counter-clockwise more than 10 turns!)
Have you determined and adjusted your draw length yet?
Here´s a link to the user manual: https://www.predatorcompoundbows.com/manuals
The manual is a joke. I own the Predator Archery Raptor. Love the bow, but the manual dose not tell you much of anything about the bow. There is virtually nothing (a video on how to put it together and that’s about it) online about it either.

New to the archery world. I’ve never shot a ow of any type but i totally want to get into this for hunting purposes mainly. I feel like this is a great bow bow package, but I have no idea what a good package would actually be. Price point is perfect… the reviews on this bow are pretty good, but I simply have no idea what kind of reliability this great price package would offer.
Frankly, is this a relatively decent beginner package at this time.
It’s a decent package for starters. Especially at this price point! Is there a better bow out there? Yes! It all depends on your budget. I suggest finding the closest archer shop. The people there are usually very helpful. Try shooting a few arrows for a feel.
Do we know who is claiming ownership of this bow. Who actually makes the rest of bow? I know the equipment on it is China. I bought one last week and it feels good. Just want to know about the rest.
Hi Davis. We reached out to them and received the following answers: “Our facility is in Riverside, California. Yes, we are a US company.”, “Yes, we manufacture our bows.” …
